We believe that every role in our church plays a vital part in fulfilling our commitment to nurture spiritual growth, foster strong community connections, and make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.

Senior Pastor Chuck Houston

Pastor Chuck and Lisa were married while Chuck served in the U.S.M.C. They have a son, C.J., who works in education overseas. Over the years, the couple has also opened their home to many children. They enjoy spending time with family and friends, golfing, and taking their dog Piper on adventures in The Villages.

Pastor Chuck is hard-working, compassionate, innovative, and detail-oriented. He has previously served Jesus through weekly radio shows, community outreach, affinity evangelism, church planting, and revitalization efforts. In secular work, he has owned businesses and provided corporate training.

Education: Master of Theological Studies with a Preaching and Pastoral Emphasis at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Leavell College at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and Clear Creek Baptist Bible College.   

Jeff has been serving as Associate Pastor at Immanuel Baptist since February of 2023. He was born and raised in Macon, Georgia where he was saved at the age of nine at Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church.

Jeff has been married to Marie (West) for over forty years and they have two adult children who are both married. The pride and joy of their lives are their four grandchildren who all reside in Florida. Jeff is passionate about ministry and loves to serve the people of Immanuel.

He attended Georgia State University and the Psychological Studies Institute where he obtained a Master’s degree in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Christian counseling.

He later attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Master’s Degree in Christian Education (MACE) and then a Doctorate of Education in Ministry (D.Ed.Min).

Associate Pastor, Dr. Jeff Ayers

Bob Kinsey has spent countless hours working on music and with the choir of Immanuel. He has faithfully served in any capacity he felt the Lord could use his many gifts.In the community he has played in many venues while also encouraging some of the people in area nursing homes.



In 2024, Bob transitioned to the Choir Leader Emeritus role at Immanuel.
